Lutheran Social Services (LSS) is a private, non-profit, human service agency providing a variety of services throughout Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. As an Adult Residential Support Professional - Transportation Specialist, you'll provide safe transportation and day-to-day support to individuals receiving services in our residential programs.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys building positive relationships, helping others access essential services, and contributing to a supportive team environment.

Due to contractual reasons, we are accepting only male applicants.


What You'll Do

As part of our residential services team, you will:



  • Safely transport residents to appointments, meetings, treatment services, and community activities
  • Assist residents with accessing program services and maintaining daily schedules
  • Help maintain program vehicles, including coordinating routine maintenance, cleaning, and inspections
  • Perform housekeeping and facility support duties as needed
  • Organize and distribute clothing, bedding, and other supplies
  • Assist individuals with limited mobility, including those who use wheelchairs
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all residents
  • Support the agency's mission, values, and commitment to person-centered care


What We're Looking For

Successful candidates will:



  • Have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record
  • Meet LSS driving and auto insurance requirements
  • Demonstrate compassion, patience, and professionalism
  • Communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
  • Be dependable, organized, and able to work independently
  • Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM No evenings, weekends, or overnight shifts.


Requirements

Employment is contingent upon successfully completing all required background checks, caregiver checks, medical screenings, motor vehicle record reviews, and other program-specific requirements.
