We are seeking a Manufacturing Associate to work in the Heat Treat department in our Richburg, SC facility. In this position you are responsible for executing and monitoring the anneal (heat treat) process to alter the microstructure of the metal material to meet customer specifications. A successful candidate will demonstrate time management skills and an eagerness to learn.

ESSENTIAL TASKS:

• Use heat-treating furnaces to accurately heat treat both bar and coil products.
• Use specific mill instructions to correctly regulate furnaces.
• Prepare loads of material to be heat treated in the correct manner.
• Monitor all processes and adjust for non-conformance.
• Keep records according to customer specifications.
• Perform routing preventive maintenance as required.
• Perform duties in a timely manner to maintain production schedules.
• Keep work area neat and orderly at all times.

NON-ESSENTIAL TASKS:

• Perform any other duties as required and directed by management.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED
