Your role

Under the direction of the Regional Sales Manager, the Engineered Solutions Sales Leader (ESSL) leads all customer-related activities for the engineered solutions portfolio within the assigned territory, collaborating with regional leadership and factory-functional teams to achieve sales and marketing objectives. The ESSL is responsible for managing direct sales of Quincy multi-brand engineered productsincluding oil-free, gas generation, and high- and low-pressure compression solutionswhile driving maximum sales volume and profitability through defined account management.





    • You will support and mentor New Equipment salespeople in the engineered solutions product portfolio
    • You will have in-depth knowledge of engineered solutions portfolio and technical sales support
    • You will drive market share growth of engineered solutions products through the New Equipment sales team
    • You willdesign and engineer compressed air and gas generation solutions
    • You will develop relationships with key engineered solutions accounts in assigned territory
    • You will track customer calls and provide reports accordingly using CRM tool as directed
    • You will effectively manage quote log of engineered solutions products in territory and follow up as needed
    • You will assist in auditing compressed air systems and present results
    • You will directly call on A&E firms, large contractors and strategic accounts in assigned territory
    • You will conduct lunch and learns and help develop bid specifications for engineered solutions products
    • You will develop anunderstanding of competitive landscape in engineered solutions market
    • You will work with product managers to ensure all engineered solutions products are positioned for success in the market
    • You will provide training to salespeople on all engineered solutions products and technical sales tactics



Your skills and experience

  • You have a Bachelor's degree inEngineering preferred; degree in Business, Marketing or management considered with supplemental technical training or experience.
  • You have 7+ years compressor industry experience preferred
  • You have a general knowledge of industrial products including compressed air products and markets, including but not limited to air compressors, vacuum pumps and air treatment.
  • You have the ability to create and manage marketing plans and strategies.
  • You have exceptional communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter.
  • You are able to travel frequently by air travel to attend trainings and sales meetings.
  • You are extremely proficient in Excel, CRM, search engines, and database management

  • We offer potential earnings of $150,000 (base salary of $70,000 - $100,000 gross per year based on knowledge and experience, plus car allowance and commission).


Your location

You will be remote near Charlotte, NC with a dedicated territory and report in to our Charlotte, NC office.
