What You'll Do

You'll play an important role in keeping our facilities and equipment operating at their best by:

  • Conducting equipment inspections and completing scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facilities.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues and performing necessary repairs.
  • Completing general maintenance involving electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, HVAC, and other building systems.
  • Assisting with the installation and setup of new equipment and machinery.
  • Conducting and tracking required testing to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Performing general building repairs to doors, walls, floors, ceilings, and other facility components.
  • Assembling and installing racking, shelving, and miscellaneous store fixtures.
  • Using basic measuring and math skills to determine materials, dimensions, and repair requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation related to inspections, preventative maintenance, testing, and repairs.
  • Following established safety standards, company policies, and maintenance procedures.
  • Supporting additional maintenance needs and overtime as business needs require.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with their hands, and taking ownership of keeping things running smoothly. You'll be successful in this role if you bring:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience diagnosing and repairing equipment and machinery.
  • Working knowledge of general electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, HVAC, and facility maintenance.
  • Experience performing preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic measuring and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to safely use maintenance tools, equipment, and testing devices.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to completing quality work.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively partnering with others.
  • A safety-first mindset and the ability to follow regulatory and company requirements.
  • Flexibility to support overtime and changing operational needs when necessary.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or 5+ years related experience.
  • Knowledge of mechanical components, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and general maintenance repair.
  • Ability to read diagrams and prints is required.
  • Experience working with hand tools and small power tools.
  • Ability to pull a trailer.
  • Welding experience preferred.

Computer Skills

  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and email systems.
  • Must be comfortable using smart devices such as an iPad.

Licenses

  • Possess a current state driver's license and valid insurance with the ability to travel to business locations as needed.

Pay Range

USD $22.75 - USD $33.50 /Hr.
