JOB SUMMARY Work under limited supervision to design, coordinate, implement, and maintain the Information Resources (IR) Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) program for UTSouthwestern Medical Center. This position is responsible for establishing a programmatic, repeatable, and auditable approach to ensuring continuity of IT services and recovery of mission critical systems in the event of disruptions, emergencies, or disasters. Reporting to the AVP for IT Operations, the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Program Manager works closely with IR leadership, Information Security, Safety and Business Continuity, clinical and research stakeholders, and University administration to align technology recovery capabilities with institutional priorities, risk tolerance, and regulatory requirements. This role does not directly operate infrastructure, but coordinates planning, testing, documentation, governance, and continuous improvement activities across the IT organization. BENEFITS
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Required
Bachelor's Degree
5 years of progressively responsible experience in information technology, business continuity, disaster recovery, risk management, or program management.
Experience in a healthcare, academic medical center, or higher education environment preferred.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CBCP, MBCI, ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or similar) JOB DUTIES
