The Clinic Staff Assistant I directly interacts with patients on the phone and/or face-to-face to support the front office operations of the outpatient clinics. This role maintains a strong patient-centered focus, consistently demonstrating compassion, empathy, and professionalism when assisting patients and their families. The position features a structured career ladder with opportunities for advancement based on performance and the assumption of increased responsibilities. Under close supervision, the employee is expected to develop proficiency in at least two clinical front office workflows within six months. As a member of the float pool, this role requires a high degree of flexibility and adaptability. The selected candidate will provide coverage and operational support across multiple clinic locations in response to staffing and business needs. Work schedules may vary, and the employee must be flexible with regard to hours, including potential changes in start and end times. This position may involve reporting to different sites on a daily basis; therefore, reliable transportation is essential. The ideal candidate is dependable, responsive to shifting priorities, and comfortable collaborating with diverse teams in a variety of clinical environments. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
