Occasional travel may be required for in-person engagements with internal customers and suppliers across multiple Leidos sites. This high impact role will report directly to the Director, Global Supply Chain and will serve as an integrated member of the Defense Contracts and Supply Chain organization. The successful candidate will manage a team of Subcontracts professionals, provide strategic leadership and act as a key interface between Leidos management and senior Contracts and ,Global Supply Chain management. The successful leader will serve as the primary liaison between Subcontractors and multiple programs, contractually managing agreements of various types (i.e., typically of a high dollar value, risk, and complexity). This role is ideal for a strategic supply chain leader who thrives in complex, government-regulated environments and understands how supplier ecosystems support mission-critical defense objectives This role will require close collaboration with other functions, such as, but not limited to: Contracts, Program Management, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Manufacturing, Growth and Business Development to ensure the successful execution of the assigned portfolio. In addition to leading the team, the candidate may have the opportunity to directly manage subcontracts on select programs when needed or help with special projects and corporate initiatives. They will be expected to align subcontract outcomes with program, business area and sector objectives, communicate effectively, manage their time efficiently, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines with minimal supervision, and demonstrate acute attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, capable of working independently, and willing to go beyond to ensure the success of both their team and their individual contributions. Primary Responsibilities
