BC FNP Position | Substance Abuse | PRN W2 Employed | Serene North GA Mountains

Black Bear Lodge in Sautee, GA is currently recruiting a PRN Nurse Practitioner for their Adult Addiction and Psychiatric Treatment Programs.

• Employment Type: PRN, Hospital Employed, onsite only
• Schedule / Hours: weekends, weekdays, holidays and vacation coverages (Thursday, Friday and Saturday availability preferred)
• Patient Volume:varies by census
• Location: Sautee, GA-North GA Mountains
• Practice Setting: Stand-alone behavioral and substance abuse facility, H&Ps
• Support / Care Team:Multidisciplinary with BC Psychiatrists, BH Techs, BH RN, Psychiatric NPs, Social Workers and Therapists
• EMR / Technology: Tier currentlybut will be updating with new EMR in the fall

Responsibilities

• The duties include admission physicals and daily consult care with follow-ups

• Medical management of routine illnesses

• There is a full team of diverse psychiatry physician staff at the hospital for collaboration between them and the FNP.

• Document care using Tier.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master's Degree in Nursing from a recognized school of nursing
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner/APRN in the State of Georgia or willingness to obtain licensure in the State of Georgia.
• Board Certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC)
• Current National DEA Certificate
