Description

    Supporting efforts include tasks related to supporting delivery of training and instructional products used in classroom instruction, distance learning media, and computer-based training
  • Participating in script writing, video and still photo events and technical documentation production efforts
  • Writing plans and documents and being responsible for the format of all deliverable documents
  • Reviewing and updating tech publications as required by the customer
  • Researching, writing, editing, and proofreading technical data for use in documents or sections of documents such as manuals, procedures, and plans
  • Preparing, reviewing, revising, and maintaining all program technical documents including system integration, system operations, testing, and user documentation

Requirements

  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in technical writing, English, or equivalent work experience
  • Six years of experience in the physical sciences or engineering fields, to include: writing/editing technical documentation, procedures and guidelines for C5ISR systems or equivalent
  • Experience writing a variety of technical documents
  • Experience generating documents with Word styles and using proper formatting
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Professional
  • Ability to interact with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented


Desired Skills

  • Experience creating and/or modifying documentation under a government contract to include technical publications and test procedures
  • Ability to understand technical drawings and schematics in order to provide written descriptions of processes, systems, networks, etc.
  • Understanding of systems engineering and associated documentation
  • Prior experience in the government contracting field
  • Experience with CMPRO and Visio


Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET ELIGIBILITY
