The role of the Residential Energy Demand Generation Team is core to this mission as we develop resources and lead programs to increase demand and ensure we and our partners hit installation targets. Tesla is looking fora dynamicDemand Generation Specialistto join ourNorth Americateamin Palo Alto, CA. This rolewill focus on North Americaevents andmarketingoperations and requiremeticulous planning,cross-functional communication, and execution ofmultiple consecutiveindustry conferencesandregionalevents. This role will alsofacilitatevarious budgetary processes and fulfillment ofglobal marketing-specificproduct allocations. To succeed, the ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail,behighly organized,able to adapt to afast-pacedenvironmentand excel in managing multiple projects simultaneously.Additionally, they should have a passion forrenewableenergy andbea self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
What You'll Do
- Lead the planning and execution of major events, ensuring they align with strategic business goalsand lead generation targets. This includes venuemanagement, vendor coordination,logistics, and post-event analysis
- Collaborate closely with thechannelsales team to manage regional level events, enhancingproduct awareness and driving increased Certified Installer onboardings and installations
- Owns the end-to-end channel event request process (intake, prioritization, stakeholder communication) andmaintainsa centralized event calendar for internal transparency
- Serve as a critical support partner for Tesla's highest-visibility Tier 1 events,working alongsideeventleads to keep complex, high-stakes programs running smoothly from planning through execution and wrap-up
- Plan and support distributor events andInstallerroadshows, ensuring all logistical aspects are covered from setup totear down. This also includes ensuring leads are efficiently captured and funneled into existing nurturing programs
- Deploy and manage newDIY enablementkits that support event executionat a local level by the sales team, providing all necessary materials, branding, and procedural guidelines
- Handle the ongoing management ofteamPO requests, ensuring all events, swag and sponsorshipsare adequately resourcedwith minimal budget variances
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in event management, marketing operations, or a similar role
- Proven experience in managing both large-scale and smaller, targeted events
- Strong project management skills, with proficiency in event planning software
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM systems

Expected Compensation
$72,000 - $132,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
