What to Expect
We are looking for an experiencedCollision People Leaderto work on one of the most progressive vehicles in the world on theCollision Tactical Response Team. TheSupervisor, Collision Tactical Response Teamwill lead the team to quickly deploy to support factory initiatives to minimize impact on the field, support high backlog locations, and new location openings. This position is home based through a local Tesla collision center; however, it requires regular travel in support of other collision centers and factory operations. This position can be based out of any of our Tesla Collision Centers in the Northeast or Southeast and requires 75% travel, up to 3 consecutive week minimum. What You'll Do
- Manage Collision Tactical Response Team
- Lead, plan, and implement mission-based deployments for the team
- Partner with Regional Managers and Factory Managers to determine support needs
- Standardizing processes/procedures, improve resource management, and developing operational key performance Indicators and reporting
- Ability and willingness to perform as a team member on multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment with high expectations for quality
- Generate weekly reports of activities and findings
- Comply with safety rules, guidelines, and standards
What You'll Bring
- 5+ years of collision technician or painter experience; Tesla experience preferred. 1-3 years of direct people management experience preferred
- 50% of the year travel minimum
- Proven capability of leading a team through collision repair technical troubleshooting situations
- Capable of seamlessly integrating with multiple different teams on wide variety of different technical repairs and processes
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work, including the public
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft office and cloud applications. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Ability to work independently in limited supervision environments. Ability to travel nationally and internationally to support business needs. Valid driver license and insurable
