General Job Description Postition Overview IES Residential is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team. Previous project management and construction operations experience is preferred. We are looking for a highly organized, results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively oversee project execution, manage teams, and support operational success. Responsibilities Manage and oversee all phases of construction and operational projects from initiation through completion. Coordinate with customers, vendors, subcontractors, office staff, and field personnel regarding project requirements and timelines. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to support successful project execution. Monitor project progress, productivity, and financial performance to ensure project goals are achieved. Review project plans, specifications, contracts, and documentation for accuracy and compliance. Identify and resolve project-related issues, delays, and operational concerns in a timely manner. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project teams and field personnel. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures. Prepare and maintain project reports, documentation, and status updates for management and stakeholders. Contribute as a team player in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service at all times. Perform additional administrative and operational support tasks as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Education None Minimum Years of Experience 4-6 Specific Qualifications Qualifications Previous project management, construction management, or operations management experience preferred. Electrical industry experience preferred. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities. Proficiency with computers, project management software, and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to analyze project data and make sound business decisions. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to pass pre-employment screenings such as background and motor vehicle record checks. English speaking, reading, and writing preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties. Spanish speaking preferred. Maintain professionalism and a positive, respectful demeanor with customers, coworkers, and business partners. Education/Experience High school diploma or GED preferred. Relevant industry certifications or licenses preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties. Physical Requirements and Work Environment Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing operational demands. Ability to work overtime, modified schedules, or occasional weekends as business needs require. Work in a typical office environment, sitting at a desk and performing prolonged computer work, with occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Maintain dependable transportation and consistent, reliable attendance to meet customer service and operational needs. Ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions within established company policies and procedures. Communicate in person, by phone, and electronically, including on a tablet, smartphone, and other office technology. Travel as required to support project and operational needs. Perform all work on-site and in person; this is not a remote or hybrid position. Lift, carry, push, and pull at least 25 pounds. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or work authorization support.
