What You'll Do

• Craft compelling hooks, scripts, headlines, and short-form ad copy tailored for platforms like Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram, understanding the unique nuances of each channel.
• Develop multiple, genuinely distinct copy directions for each brief, exploring diverse angles, emotional registers, and hypotheses to uncover what truly resonates.
• Operate within a hypothesis-driven framework, treating your copy as a critical variable to be tested and optimized.
• Analyze performance data, proactively identifying opportunities to iterate and refine copy based on metrics like hook hold rate, CTR, and conversion.
• Collaborate closely with creative strategists and creative directors, actively contributing to campaign platform development and shaping the strategic direction of projects.
• Embrace rapid iteration and revision with an open mind, integrating feedback from clients, data insights, and strategic briefs to continuously elevate your work.

What You'll Bring

Must-Have Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience writing performance creative in paid media and paid social environments, with a strong command of direct response principles.
• 3+ years of agency experience, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple clients and categories in a fast-paced setting.
• Deep platform fluency, understanding how content structures are rewarded on TikTok, the critical importance of the first three seconds on Meta video, and what drives engagement for pre-roll ads.
• Familiarity with hypothesis-driven creative briefs, approaching every copy direction as a test rather than a final answer.
• Exceptional voice range, capable of authentically writing for diverse sectors such as luxury skincare, supplements, and B2B SaaS within the same week.
• Proven fluency with AI tools, utilizing them effectively to enhance speed and quality of output.
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience demonstrating the required skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience script writing for direct response video, particularly understanding the hook-to-offer video ad structure.
• Prior brand experience in DTC, CPG, beauty, fashion, health, or consumer services.
• An understanding of how creative performance data is read and applied to subsequent briefs, gained from collaboration with media teams.
