YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

The Manager, Project Controls is a strategic leader within Rosendin's Project Controls Group, responsible for overseeing a team of professionals and leading the regional and enterprise-level implementation of project controls processes and tools across Rosendin's most complex projects. This role ensures the successful execution of project controls by bridging tactical planning with field execution, driving standards, mentoring teams, resolving implementation challenges, and delivering project performance insights. Working closely with Project Controls Leads and Project Controls Engineers, the Manager ensures consistency in planning, tracking, and reporting practices across all phases of project execution. With significant autonomy, this role focuses on cross-functional coordination, strategic oversight, and continuous improvement. The Manager also supports field teams directly while serving as a liaison between regional leadership and the PCG, building regional capabilities and driving standardization and excellence in project controls practices.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Act as lead advisor and regional implementation lead for project controls tactics, ensuring standards are consistently applied across complex and high-visibility projects.

  • Collaborate closely with Project Controls Leads to align on rollout priorities, support field needs, and drive adoption of core processes.

  • Partner with Regional Directors, Project Executives, and Preconstruction teams to embed scope clarity, risk awareness, and WBS integrity from pursuit through execution.

  • Coach Project Controls Leads, Engineers, and Data Specialists in daily execution, tool usage, and reporting workflows.

  • Facilitate job startup planning sessions, progress review meetings, and post-mortem evaluations for continuous improvement.

  • Support issue resolution and escalate challenges impacting planning, tracking, or scope definition.

  • Lead regional training efforts and pilot adoption of AI tools or digital solutions that support controls innovation.

  • Represent PCG in regional leadership discussions and contribute to enterprise tactic development.

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in project controls or construction operations, including supervisory responsibilities.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
  • Proven ability to lead audits, mentor junior staff, and influence cross-functional teams.

  • Expert-level understanding of WBS design, planning principles, and project controls systems.

  • Proven success managing large-scale or complex projects with rigorous planning and reporting needs.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and work across field, engineering, and corporate stakeholders.

  • Proficient with enterprise project controls platforms (e.g., Oracle, P6, Power BI, Smartsheet, Procore).

  • Clear communication and facilitation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending.

  • Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.

  • Noise level is usually low to medium.

  • Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
