Job Title: Phlebotomist I Location: Med Center OB, 6550 Fannin Ste 2221, Houston, TX 77030 Training Location: Houston, TX 77040 Schedule: Mon-Thurs 8-5 Fri 8-12 Duration- 3 months Key Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Minimum Qualifications: Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states. Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. High School Diploma or GED 0-2 years of experience
