Unit: Endoscopy Working Hours: Full Time; 40 hours/week; (4) 10 hour shifts Shift: Day Shift; 7:30a - 6p; On Call work required Job Details & Qualifications: Sibley Memorial Hospital is a private, not-for-profit community hospital offering the advanced technology of a leading health system with the close-knit collaboration of a community setting. The Gastroenterology Technical Coordinator possesses advanced knowledge and skills necessary to perform advanced endoscopic procedures. Acts as a departmental resource for the gastroenterology service line and serves as a primary preceptor for other staff orienting to the Technician role in the Endoscopy Suite. This position in collaboration and under the direction of the department Nurse Manager and/or designated charge nurse coordinates the daily operations of the suite. Ensures operational efficiency by planning for the availability of supplies/equipment and instrumentation. Provides technical expertise to the other Endoscopy Technicians and nursing staff necessary to ensure the safe and effective performance of endoscopic procedures. Key Responsibilities:

Salary Range: Minimum 30.38/hour - Maximum 50.10/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
