What will you do in this role?

Position Summary: The Enterprise Architect for D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management is responsible for defining the overall solution architecture for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain Management, and related Microsoft platform capabilities. This role translates client business requirements into scalable process and system designs across finance, procurement, inventory, manufacturing, warehouse management, transportation, order-to-cash, and related enterprise processes. The Enterprise Architect leads solution design, validates integration and data migration strategies, bridges functional and technical teams, and ensures that project deliverables align with Sikich methodology, client business outcomes, and Microsoft best practices. This role also supports active projects through advisory oversight, quality assurance, solution governance, and escalation support, while contributing to go-to-market initiatives and pre-sales engagements.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads Solution Blueprint phase of client projects including discovery and design sessions.
  • Translates business requirements into well-architected solutions that drive business process improvement.
  • Strong documentation skills, including creating business process flows, fit-gap documentation, solution design documents, integration diagrams, data migration mappings, security role matrices, and system context diagrams for D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management solutions.
  • Conducts pre-sales activities related to technology opportunities, including discovery sessions, product demonstrations, and preparation and delivery of proposals and estimates.
  • Acts as a D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management subject matter expert to clients and internal teams, demonstrating platform capabilities, advising on solution options, and providing thought leadership on Microsoft enterprise application best practices.
  • Stays current with D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management functionality, Microsoft release plans, Power Platform capabilities, integration patterns, and industry trends affecting enterprise finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and distribution operations.
  • Finalizes scoping activities and assists in incorporating into SOWs.
  • Leads go-to-market strategy for new and expanded D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management service offerings, accelerators, assessment services, implementation approaches, and industry-specific solution packages.
  • Takes ownership of assigned D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management preconfiguration and related accelerator assets, ensuring they reflect industry relevance, Sikich methodology, Microsoft best practices, and repeatable deployment standards.
  • Assigns responsibilities and directs the work of other project team members.
  • Acquires knowledge of, utilizes, and promotes Sikich Project Methodology.
  • Obtains and maintains Microsoft D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management , AI and other relevant certifications.
  • Identifies and analyzes areas of risk; develops plans to minimize risk.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Accounting, Finance, Business, MIS, or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years' consulting & technical experience
  • Microsoft D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management certifications strongly preferred, such as Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate, Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate, or Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert.
  • Experienced with implementing and supporting D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management modules, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, procurement and sourcing, inventory management, warehouse management, manufacturing, master planning, product information management, and sales order processing.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate executive, operational, and functional business requirements into D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management solution designs, configuration decisions, integration requirements, and implementation workstreams.
  • Well versed in business process analysis and design across enterprise finance, procurement, inventory, manufacturing, warehousing, transportation, order management, and related supply chain processes.
  • Familiarity with adapt/agile software delivery methodologies
  • Ability to work with diverse companies, and the various levels within those organizations
  • Public speaking/training experience.
  • US Citizen or Green Card Holder

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the base compensation range for this role is $142,588.25 - $193,800.25 - $245,012.25. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on several factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. Compensation ranges for roles in our Government Services pillar are determined by contract with the specific government agency Sikich is servicing.
