Position Summary

Looking for a work-study job that
actually uses your brain and builds your resume? This is it.

STEM is Child's Play Foundation is
hiring a work-study student to help turn our existing Canvas LMS courses into
game-based learning experiences for GED students, aspiring entrepreneurs, and
kids discovering STEM for the first time. The courses are already built.
Your job is to create the games that go with them
- using tools you
probably already know or can pick up in an afternoon.

Why this job is different

100% remote - work from your dorm, apartment, or the
library
Flexible hours that fit around your class schedule
Real portfolio pieces you can show future employers
Direct impact on learners in Albuquerque who need this
Mentorship from a founder with 40 years in tech

What you'd do Take our finished Canvas courses - AI literacy, test prep,
entrepreneurship, and STEM - and build matching games using third-party
platforms like Kahoot, Quizizz, Blooket, Gimkit, Genially, JeopardyLabs, or
Minecraft Education. Write the questions, structure the rounds, and embed the
games into the right course modules. You're not building games from scratch - you're using existing tools to gamify content that's already written.
