University of Iowa Stead Family Department of Pediatrics seeks an Endocrinologist.Appointment rank is open and may be to either the tenure track or clinical (non-tenure) track consistent with clinical experience and research interest.Appointment rank to Instructor of Pediatrics (non-tenure) may also be considered.The individual selected will join the Division of Endocrinology and Diabetes to provide patient care, teaching, and consultative services. Our Division of Endocrinology & Diabetes provides leading expert care to children and adolescents with endocrine disorders. Additionally, we provide endocrinology-related medical education and also conduct research to help address knowledge gaps in our field. Our team is dedicated to providing compassionate endocrine care coupled to expert diagnostic workup, treatment, and patient education. Our team is headed by over a dozen faculty physicians and subspecialty trained advanced practice providers. These providers collaborate with certified diabetes educators, endocrine nurses, dietitians, psychologists, and social workers to provide personalized care. Our faculty consistently earns outstanding patient satisfaction scores. The expertise of our faculty is recognized regionally, nationally, and even internationally. All our faculty are board certified/eligible in the subspecialty of pediatric endocrinology. The University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Stead Family Department of Pediatrics is ranked No. 27 in NIH funding among public pediatric departments nationwide by the Blue Ridge Institute for Medical Research.
