What to Expect
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on skills, an eye for detail, and experience in manufacturing or repair environments. You will execute remanufacturing processes on the production line-teardown, rebuild, assembly, test, and pack-out-while owning quality and safety at your station. You bring a positive, can-do attitude, pride in craftsmanship, and the drive to learn quickly, hit takt, and step up when needed in a fast-paced environment where people carry real responsibility.
What You'll Do
- Execute station work for receive, teardown, rebuild, assembly, test, and pack-out per work instructions and travelers
- Meet takt and output targets while maintaining first-time quality and safety standards
- Perform in-station checks and self-inspection; stop the line and escalate defects or process issues immediately
- Handle cores, WIP, and finished goods with full traceability (scan, label, and system transactions as required)
- Use hand tools, power/air tools, fixtures, and test equipment safely and correctly; keep the workstation organized (5S), maintain tools and consumables, and complete shift handoff notes
- Support nonconforming material containment at the station and assist rework or NCM paths when assigned
- Follow ESD, high-voltage, refrigerant, and other process-specific safety procedures where certified
What You'll Bring
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing, assembly, repair, remanufacturing, or a similar production environment
- Comfort with hand tools, power/air tools, and following detailed work instructions; strong attention to detail and ability to catch defects before they move downstream
- Basic mechanical aptitude; electrical fundamentals a plus (connectors, torque, continuity, test interfaces)
- Willingness to learn multiple stations and work to a defined takt in a fast-paced line environment; reliable documentation habits and comfort with scanners, tablets, or shop-floor systems
- Clear communication with teammates and supervisors; constructive escalation of problems; self-directed, dependable, and effective in a team-based production setting
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift per site guidelines, follow PPE and safety rules
- Preferred: automotive, battery pack, thermal/HVAC, or high-voltage product experience; prior reman or teardown work
Essential Physical Demands
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours a day
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours a day, including over varied and uneven terrain
- Frequently and repetitively, lift, push and carry up to 35 lbs., including the ability to carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs
- Frequently and repetitively, bend, lift and reach to install parts
- Stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl for extended periods of time, includingup to 12 hours a day
- Climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding or other high structures
- Ability to find issues in a work process and receive safety signals using sight, touch, and hearing
- Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limitedto:safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guideline
