Description Job Title: Production Technician
Location: Wilsonville, OR
Employment Type: Temp to perm (initially 9-12 month contract)
Industry: Manufacturing
Compensation: $25/hr
Schedule: 1st shift, M-F, 40 hours per week
About the Opportunity:
The Production Technician is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, inspecting, and validating automotive products and components to ensure they meet quality, performance, and reliability requirements. This role will work hands-on with electrical and mechanical systems, including motors, inverters, engines, transmissions, circuit boards, and related automotive components. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using electrical test equipment, diagnostic tools, mechanical measurement devices, and hand tools to identify issues, perform root-cause troubleshooting, and verify proper operation.
The Production Technician reports directly to the Site Manager and will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to identify failures, document test results, and support continuous improvement.

Automotive or Manufacturing Experience Encouraged

1 year or more of experience with motors or invertors
* Understanding of ISO Quality standards related to manufacturing and ability to use precise measuring equipment * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including dimensioning and tolerancing. * Must have a strong understanding of the relationship between tooling and various metal compounds. * Works with minimal supervision and manages the process. * Must be able to follow instructions, safety rules and regulations.
