What we do:

OurPerformance Marketing team is thenew businessacquisition engine,driving growth forThe Trade Desk. We partnerhand-in-handwith the Commercial team on integrated marketing effortsto support lead generation,pipeline development,and conversionobjectives.Our goal is to connect the world'smost ambitiousmarketers with the most innovative technology in media buying to drive the growth of their businesses.

This rolerequiresexpertisein performance marketing tactics, lead generation activities, and Salesforce workflows.You will be trusted to own key strategieswith select Commercial leadersthat drive measurable impact.

What you'll do:



  • Develop andown our annual performance marketing GTM strategy, including vision,objectives, activation plans, and a measurement strategy for business expansion. This plan will cover our events strategy,ABM budget,conversion campaign plan, and partner integrations across the NAMER business, with a specificfocuson Growth targets and categories.


  • Partner directly withnew businessBDteam to driveacquisitiongoals and apply a performance mindset to marketing's partnership with BD. Act with urgency to deliver new business valueandthink outside of the box forhow we canaccomplishour ambitious growth goals.


  • Responsible for prospecting events strategy, getting TTD BD "hunters" into the right rooms and conferences to meet new contacts.


  • Own the NAMERwebinarstrategy from planning throughtacticalexecution andimpactmeasurement, finding creative content angles across product launches, research, and category-specific themes to engage new and existing clients.


  • Lead Salesforce workflows that connect Commercial teams with new business opportunities,specificallythe hand-off of MQLs. Develop standardized communications with clear insightsabout lead source, direction for BD, and next steps to buildregular Salesforce habits across teams. Partner with internal teams ontrainingsand process tostreamline Salesforce collaboration.


  • Manage the creation and active maintenance of Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) for our key audiences.


  • Develop regular, templatized reporting on progress towards company acquisition goals, in partnership withMarketingAnalytics team.


  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, includingbut notlimitedtoDigital Marketing,Brand Marketing, Editorial,Business Development,Marketing Operations, Analytics, Revenue Operations, and Commercial Training.


  • Serve as a connector acrossPR,Events, andCreativeteams toamplify Performance Marketing efforts where relevant.


  • Contribute to the widerMarketing team's culture of innovation, creativity,bias towards action,and continuous improvement.


Who you are:



  • You have5+ years of experience in brand marketing,performancemarketing, or related roles, ideally with exposure to the ad tech, media, or data partnership ecosystems.


  • You'rea strategic storyteller who can translate complex concepts intoclear,compelling narratives tailoredfordiverse audiences.


  • You bring a strong balance of analytical, creative, and operational thinking.


  • You'recomfortable designing structure within uncertainty, building clarity and process where therehasn'tbeen before.


  • You have a collaborative mindset, proactive way of working,and thrive in cross-functional environments.


  • You have a history of building effective collaborative relationships with senior BD counterparts.


  • You'recomfortable managing multiple projects and workstreams witha high levelof autonomy and ownership.


  • You are curious, creative, and motivated to grow with a dynamic team.

In accordance with various US state laws, the range provided is the Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and location.All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as variable compensation-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is
$77,600 $142,200 USD
