The Project Monitor II (PM II) will support the Department of Energy (DOE), Office of State and Community Energy Programs (SCEP), Schools and Nonprofits (SNP) programs. The SNP portfolio includes the Renew America's Schools Program, a $500 million investment that funds energy improvements at K-12 public school facilities to reduce energy use and costs, improve indoor air quality, and foster healthier learning environments, and the Renew America's Nonprofits Program, which funds energy efficiency improvements in buildings owned and operated by 501(c)(3) organizations so that savings can be redirected toward mission-driven work. The Project Monitor II will support the SNP federal teams by providing engineering, technical, and operational support across the project lifecycle, along with other programmatic support. The PM II performs advanced technical evaluations to identify corrective actions as needed, recommends refined project requirements, coordinates with applicable stakeholders, and ensures all necessary reviews and approvals are received. This role works directly with the DOE SCEP Schools and Nonprofits federal teams. Responsibilities:
