As a Security Officer Full Time X Ray Screener in Davenport, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will use screening technology to support controlled access and help identify prohibited items. You will remain visible, communicate professionally with team members and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service while supporting a secure environment. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and team members by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals, packages, and property entering or leaving the distribution location in accordance with established procedures, documenting and reporting prohibited items or irregularities.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry to restricted areas by verifying credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter, reporting security-related concerns and unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least six months of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
