Are you ready to take the reins on significant user experience initiatives, transforming challenging problems into elegant solutions? In this pivotal design role, you won't just design; you'll own outcomes, define scalable strategies, and evangelize a long-term vision that shapes the future of product development. This is your chance to make a profound impact, guiding design momentum across multiple efforts and influencing product strategy with your visionary perspective, contributing directly to products used by millions globally.

What You'll Do

  • Own the end-to-end user experience outcomes for mature projects, complex programs, or emerging areas, navigating challenges with limited precedent to define scalable and sustainable approaches.
  • Develop and evangelize long-term user experience and product strategy for your team, influencing multiple adjacent design efforts and offering alternative perspectives to challenge prevailing thinking.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert in user experience design principles, user-centered product development methodologies, design systems, and research tools, applying your expertise to complex problems.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to communicate, negotiate, and influence design intention, guiding the implementation of detailed design specifications, mock-ups, and product models.
  • Drive improvements in design by leveraging key data and metrics, user experience testing, and stakeholder input, actively engaging partners to achieve product goals.
  • Build consensus and gain support for design strategy across diverse teams and stakeholders, effectively communicating your approach and anticipating potential challenges.
  • Contribute to defining project priorities aligned with broader organizational goals, and strategically coordinate resource allocation within your immediate product team.
  • Create innovative design solutions based on deep user insights, business needs, and industry trends, ensuring they explicitly consider and mitigate unintentional harm while supporting key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Drive the implementation of a holistic design process, design system, or design language across various teams or products, developing and generating support for a cohesive design vision.
  • Guide other user experience designers in creating design concepts for product ideation and user research, or conduct independent research to inform and validate design directions.
  • Apply, adapt, and define robust user experience design frameworks, including principles, patterns, and systems, leveraging writing and design tools to visualize ideas, develop mock-ups, and create prototypes that drive the product vision forward.
  • Propose impactful ideas to enhance user experience by analyzing and anticipating user needs, actively collaborating with others to solve strategic, product, or technological constraints.
