Position: Machine Operator - Coating Room Location: Port Washington, WI Shift: B Shift - 5:00pm - 3:00am (M-Th) Pay: Job Responsibilities: Perform coating machine operation, along with the ability to make batches for the coater while maintaining continuous machine operation without interruptions. Complete cleaning/sanitization of coating machines according to established guidelines. Proficient in routine troubleshooting of above listed machine(s) while maintaining the quality product and reducing waste. May be required to make adjustments to machines and material on machines to ensure the proper function of machine. Complete quality checks utilizing a ruler or scale. Make necessary adjustments (i.e., weights and dimensions) to ensure quality of product. Document results accurately and completely. Complete set-up or changeover of machines to include loading with components, solution, and packaging materials. Maintain a safe, clean, organized production line and work area. Assist with waste removal from line and/or plant. Observe all safety and quality procedures while completing required duties. Process all required paperwork accurately and timely. Requirements: 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field Ability to read and follow safety rules, procedures, and technical instructions Must be able to complete Forklift certification and a-Scan certification. Basic math skills, including converting units (e.g., grams to pounds) Strong communication skills and attention to detail Able to complete reports and maintain accurate documentation Problem-solving skills and ability to follow instructions in various formats Team player who can also work independently Committed to safety, quality, and confidentiality Upholds company policies and strong work ethic
