Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Sciences, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field required.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, or Continuous Improvement training preferred.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and manufacturing quality systems preferred.
  • Understanding of production planning, capacity management, and industrial manufacturing processes.


Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of Industrial Engineering and Project Management experience.
  • 3-5 years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience leading engineering teams, process improvement initiatives, and capital projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, MRP systems, and manufacturing reporting tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team development skills.


Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to work in both office and manufacturing production environments.
  • Frequent walking throughout the facility to support operations and engineering projects.
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform routine inspections of equipment and processes.
  • Must be able to safely access production areas and interact with manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to use computers and office equipment for extended periods.
  • Commitment to maintaining workplace safety and environmental standards.


Job Duties

  • Lead manufacturing engineering, tooling, and process development teams supporting metal and titanium product manufacturing operations.
  • Develop, improve, and maintain manufacturing processes, routings, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Analyze production performance, equipment effectiveness, and manufacturing metrics to drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost improvements.
  • Manage engineering projects, facility upgrades, equipment improvements, and capital investment initiatives.
  • Support maintenance teams by improving equipment reliability, preventive maintenance programs, and operational performance.
  • Train, coach, and supervise engineering staff while promoting accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, quality, and leadership teams to meet customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and company standards while supporting Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
