As a Sr Tax Analyst at Enbridge, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our tax compliance and reporting processes are performed flawlessly. We are looking to fill at least 3 vacancies within this team.

What You Will Do:
  • Prepare federal and state corporate and partnership income tax returns and supporting workpapers.

  • Prepare and/or review the quarterly and annual income tax provisions, including accompanying work papers.

  • Manage tax fixed asset records, maintain tax depreciation software, and perform reconciliations between tax and GAAP fixed asset books to support accurate tax reporting and compliance.

  • Prepare and/or assess estimated tax payments.

  • Gather, coordinate, and summarize documentation, and prepare necessary tax calculations.

  • Assist with the execution and implementation of tax planning initiatives, as well as tax process improvements.

  • Assist with tax projections and modeling.

Scope/Dimensions

Enbridge is a public multi-national company with operations in the US, Canada, and 14 international countries. We manage over 450 entities, including corporations, partnerships, trusts, and joint ventures. Our reported operating revenue for the year ended December 31, 2025, was $65B, with $7B in earnings and $2B in income tax expenses. With $218B in assets and $20B in net deferred tax liabilities, the magnitude of our responsibilities is immense.

The Enbridge Tax Services team consists of more than 70 tax experts. Clear communication and regular cooperation within the group and throughout the organization are essential to our achievements. The number of projects and transactions is often substantial and significant, demanding the capacity to prioritize and perform tasks efficiently.

Contacts (Working Relationships)

  • Report to the Supervisor US Tax Consolidation.

  • Interact regularly with other members within the tax group and other internal collaborators, including corporate and business development, law, CAO, and treasury.

  • Collaborate with external advisors.

  • Interact with tax authorities.

Who You Are:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience, required.

  • 2+ years of federal, state, and partnership taxation or related accounting experience.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and research tools.

  • Strong analytical and technical skills; detailed oriented.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of the organization.

  • Strong organizational abilities and a focus on work processes required; capacity to manage workload priorities and achieve outcomes.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Must be an independent self-starter with a critical approach to matters.

  • Alteryx, PowerQuery, PowerBI strongly preferred.

Preferred:
  • Masters in Tax, or similar advanced degree, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience in a large public accounting firm or large corporate tax department.

  • Experience with Oracle and Corptax a plus.

  • Experience working with pipeline/energy companies a plus.

  • Active CPA certification or CPA candidate

Physical Requirements:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

Note:

Salary Ranges from $66,000 to $100,000 USD for US locations based upon candidate's experience, skills, and internal equity. Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
