JOB DESCRIPTION:

    • Lead and prioritize shop operations to maximize technician productivity, equipment utilization, and cost control.
    • Manage the Rents Service Dashboard, including down equipment, make-ready units, rental damage, and customer repairs.
    • Oversee work order processing, WIP management, invoicing, and warranty compliance to ensure timely and accurate completion.
    • Partner with Rental Management to align repair priorities with business needs.
    • Supervise, coach, and develop Shop Service Technicians and the Service Advisor through ongoing feedback and performance reviews.
    • Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment while enforcing Foley policies and safety standards.
    • Provide technical support, warranty guidance, and process improvement leadership to enhance shop performance and profitability.
    • Review repair estimates, obtain customer approvals when needed, and ensure quality repair execution.
RECOMMENDED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associate degree in Diesel Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Five or more years of experience in the heavy equipment, construction equipment, rental equipment, or diesel service industry required.
  • Previous supervisory, lead technician, or service management experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Excellent negotiation, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; both verbal and written.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and other related software.
