About This Position Traveling Food Service Director will plan and direct the activities associated with running and assisting food service operations in multiple sites. Step into facilities within assigned region which need support with management, preparing meals and/or other tasks as assigned based on the clients/our needs. You will be in charge of the operational and financial responsibilities for the kitchen while assigned to a designated location. You will supervise an AFSD and/or a team of Food Service Supervisors and/or Cooks who are involved with the preparation, serving and clean-up of food in a secure correctional facility. Before deployment to any facility, the Regional Food Service District manager or designee will complete briefing on the status of the facility and support needs, which will be reviewed. You will work onsite inside a jail/correctional facility. You will report to the District Manager. Our ideal Food Service Director excels at the following:
