This is a temporary position totaling 67 days per calendar year or less The Sport Clubs program has a current roster of 22 sport-related student groups and approximately 500 participants and is actively recruiting coaches to plan, organize, and lead daily practices and competitions. Each Sport Club is registered as Campus Life Programs (CLPs) on campus and all groups are directly affiliated with Recreational Sports Outdoor Programs and the University of Minnesota Duluth. All Sport Clubs coaches are directly supervised by the Associate Director of Recreation and Wellness, and are expected to maintain a strong commitment to the University's goal of creating a positive and inclusive campus climate by advancing equity and diversity. The responsibilities of this position typically require coaches to attend, lead, and direct daytime and evening club practices, competitions, and special events. Embodying the ideals of Recreational Sports Outdoor Programs, the mission of the Sport Clubs Program is to develop students through competition, instruction, financial responsibility, and general administration of sport clubs.
