You will directly contribute to the well-being and satisfaction of customers by orchestrating the daily activities of field personnel, managing vital work orders swiftly and effectively. Your ability to manage resources, communicate effectively, and respond to urgent needs will be paramount in maintaining operational excellence and supporting vital infrastructure for the community.

Your Impact and Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the continuous delivery of essential services by:



  • Monitoring, dispatching, and balancing work orders for field personnel, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Acting as a primary point of contact, responding to information requests and facilitating seamless communication between customer service and field teams.
  • Handling incoming calls and performing proactive call-ahead requests for field technicians to streamline operations.
  • Receiving and dispatching non-emergency work orders efficiently to support both daily routines and critical emergency operations.
  • Utilizing advanced mobile data and dispatching systems to assign orders effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Tracking, routing, and meticulously documenting work orders, and reviewing backlogged tasks to ensure timely completion and operational excellence.
  • Coordinating essential operational requirements between various internal departments and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration.
  • Resolving scheduling conflicts between customer support, customers, and supervision to optimize service delivery and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Serving as a crucial liaison between the organization, customers, and governmental agencies during emergency situations, ensuring clear and effective communication.


Required Qualifications



  • High school diploma or GED.
  • One year of experience with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system or a mobile data dispatching system.
  • At least one year of experience in or supporting field operations, or one year of equivalent dispatching experience.
