As an Access Control Officer at a transportation location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and responding to security-related concerns. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to transportation facility visitors, employees, contractors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor entry procedures, and maintain required access-control records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, parking areas, transportation facility grounds, and perimeter areas. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Report unusual activity, damaged access-control equipment, and potential hazards to the appropriate personnel in accordance with site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
