To be considered for this role, you must:



  • Be authorized to work in the United States
  • Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment
  • Be able to work on a W-2 basis. C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position
  • Be able to work the following schedule:

    • Week 1 Training: Monday - Thursday, 4:30 PM - 12:30 AM
    • Regular Schedule: Monday - Wednesday, 9:00 AM - 7:00 AM AND either Thursday, 4:30 PM - 2:30 AM or Saturday, 2:30 PM - 12:30 AM


  • Have a current and valid Pharmacy Technician License for the State of Illinois


About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our client's team, focusing on the critical preparation and distribution of essential drug products. In this role, you will be at the heart of the medication fulfillment process, utilizing advanced systems to ensure prescriptions are accurately prepared and delivered. Your meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be crucial in resolving complex issues, directly contributing to seamless patient service and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities



  • Process prescription exceptions, including resolving claim rejects and engaging in proactive outreach to members and physicians to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Accurately enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system, maintaining data integrity.
  • Investigate and resolve rejected insurance billing issues, as well as escalated member concerns, ensuring a positive patient experience.
  • Collaborate closely with Pharmacists, escalating complex prescription questions for expert interpretation and guidance.
  • Provide exceptional support through inbound and/or outbound calls to patients and physicians, addressing inquiries and facilitating communication.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the pharmacy operations.


Required Qualifications



  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience in a pharmacy technician role.
  • Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification as mandated by the state of operation.
  • Basic computer proficiency to navigate essential systems and tools.
