About This Role

This position serves on the Transfer Course Articulation team and is responsible for coordinating the evaluation and articulation of transfer coursework and prior learning credit for prospective and current K-State students. The position collaborates with academic units and enrollment management partners to determine, document, and maintain transfer and prior learning credit within university systems. Primary responsibilities include evaluating transfer credit, encoding transfer articulations, processing admissions transcripts, and coordinating the articulation of military, education abroad, and other alternative academic credit in accordance with university policies and procedures.

Worksite Description

This position is Hybrid eligible. 3 days in office, 2 days remote

All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho.


What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:



  • Requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and one year of relevant experience. Requirements may be met through a combination of education and experience.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Two years of experience in general office, clerical and administrative support work.
  • Some college or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience with detailed office work including data entry, record keeping, and reporting functions.
  • Experience with systems of higher education including enrollment management records keeping.
  • Familiarity with transfer credit assessment processes and/or prior learning credit assessment.
  • Ability to extract and analyze detailed information from multiple sources and relate it to specific situations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and implement policies and procedures.
  • Experience with student information system (PeopleSoft), CollegeSource products including uAchieve (DARS), TES and Transferology, Slate, Microsoft Office Suite, modern office procedures, practices and equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
