UNC Hospitals Rehabilitation Service Line is seeking a compassionate and dedicated part time Pediatric Occupational Therapist I to join our multidisciplinary team at the Center for Rehabilitation Care in Chapel Hill, NC. In this 20 hour per week position, you will provide high-quality care across the pediatric continuum for patients birth to 21 years of age, including developmental, orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation. Diagnoses seen include but are not limited to autism, sensory processing disorders, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, muscular dystrophy, hemiplegia, fine motor delay, brachial plexus, spina bifida, prematurity and traumatic brain injury. This role offers the opportunity to work with adiverse patient population and colleagues that are truly invested and passionate about the care they deliver. At the Center for Rehabilitation, you will work in collaboration with our dynamic and experienced pediatric-focused therapy team that includes physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists, as well as pediatric physiatrists, social workers, and pediatric nurse coordinators. We are also engaged in weekly to monthly interdisciplinary clinics to provide specialized, holistic care for the following diagnoses, Spina Bifida, Cerebral Palsy, Limb Deficiency, Special Infant Care Clinic (SICC), Neuromuscular Diagnoses, Brain Injury, Charcot Marie Tooth, Down Syndrome, and Rett Syndrome.
