Job Description Material Handler Weld Bay

the

Work
safely
at
all
times
Utilize
10,
20 &
100 ton
overhead
cranes
Analyze
and
develop
lift
plans
as
required
Determine
appropriate
lifting
devices
&
rigging
for
lifts
Work
with
various
individuals
to
determine
the
best
position
for
weldments
Flip
weldments
as
required
Complete
required
paperwork
Ability
to
consistently
be
available
to
come
to
work
Education and Experience
High
school
diploma
or equivalent
experience
Basic
level
blueprint
reading
skills
Above
average
rigging
skills
Experience
moving
items
over
50
tons
Excellent
safety
record
Basic
computer
skills
Good
math
skills
Safety
driven
Physical Demands
Ability to move or transfer products with an overhead crane, forklift or stand-up may be required. Ability
to
lift up
to 50 lbs. when required.
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly
required
to
stand,
walk
and
reach
with
hands
and
arms.
Specific
vision
abilities
required
by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust
focus.
