Cloudflare is seeking a seasoned and hands-on Global People Operations Manager to join our People Operations team to coordinate our automation efforts and lead our compliance and project deliverables. You will be responsible for developing and rolling out frameworks that drive automation, consistency, and compliance across our global HR operations. You will also serve as a key point of contact between People Operations and our partners (IT, Legal, Privacy, Security, Payroll, Finance) gaining a ground-level understanding of current and new initiatives People Ops will support and then operationalizing these requirements across the team. This role will act as a funnel for People Ops and Total Rewards' technology priorities, enabling us to speak with one voice to our IT partners. At an execution level, you will also partner with IT providing clear business requirements and working together to deliver AI-enabled solutions that create scale, efficiency, and frictionless employee interactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Automation and Process Enablement: Coordinate across People Ops globally to identify processes with opportunities for streamlining and automation. Facilitate workshops to create future-state process design and partner with IT, via clear business requirements, to overlay automations that yield scalable, AI-native solutions.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Serve as initial point of contact and ongoing lead for relevant audit and compliance requirements, activating broader People Ops resources as necessary.
  • Frameworks & Governance: Develop standard ways of working across the People Ops team via utilization of clear and comprehensive process and knowledge documentation. Partner with COE Leads to implement evolved ways of working, as well as ongoing governance, to assure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Systems & Operations Support: Serve as People Ops' primary point of contact with PPS, H2R, and CustomerZero IT organizations. Work with COE Leads, the broader team, and broader industry benchmarks to understand opportunities for evolved digital adaptation.
  • Liaison & Project Activation: Cultivate close partnerships across Cloudflare such that People Ops are aware of relevant initiatives from the outset and act as People Ops' 'seat at the table' over the course of conversations to influence direction and translate support needs back to People Ops Leads resulting in successful project/initiative outcomes.

Must Have:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in People Operations or HR operations.
  • Deep understanding of hire-to-retire (H2R) processes on a global scale and corresponding ability to navigate related audit and compliance responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to deep-dive processes to streamline underlying workflows, then overlaying technology/AI to facilitate and automate processes.
  • Experience with Workday business processes and case management tools (e.g., Zendesk, Jira, ServiceNow, etc.).
  • Ideal candidate will have previous AI experience or the analytical mindset to jump in and build tools (like dashboards) using internal AI with minimal hand-holding.
  • Skilled generalist with a strong understanding of global HR programs, compliance, and policy management.
  • Strong relationship builder with credibility across all levels of the organization and a global perspective.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to innovate and improve processes.
  • Able to work independently, proactively solve problems, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator with a preference for direct, empathetic, and respectful conversations.
  • Comfortable with spreadsheets, data analysis, and metrics to support decision-making.
