School of Medicine Dean's Office Job Description
The Executive Assistant provides advanced administrative and operational support to senior leaders within the Dean's Office. This position serves as a trusted partner to executive leadership by independently managing complex calendars, coordinating high-priority initiatives, preparing confidential communications, and ensuring the efficient operation of the executive office. Working with a high degree of independence, the Executive Assistant exercises sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism while interacting with faculty, department chairs, university leadership, healthcare partners, students, staff, and external stakeholders. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a proactive approach to supporting executive leadership in a fast-paced academic medicine environment.
