Job Title: Logistics Coordinator Location: Nashville, TN Pay Rate: $19/hour Schedule: Monday through Friday, start around 7 to 8am with a standard 8-hour shift

As our Logistics Coordinator, you'll keep deliveries, pickups, and freight audits running smoothly Monday through Friday, connecting plants, vendors, and carriers every step of the way. Job Duties



  • Schedule inbound deliveries and pickups for distribution centers and manufacturing plants, and plan fleet pickups at vendor locations.
  • Audit the freight payment process for accuracy and timeliness through current freight payment systems.
  • Communicate regularly with procurement, manufacturing, suppliers, shipping and receiving, carriers, and distribution centers.
  • Complete end-of-day administration and maintain accurate logistics record



Education Requirements



  • Two or more years of logistics experience, or a degree ranging from bachelor's through Master's, MBA, or Supply Chain Management, preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.


Experience Requirements



  • Working knowledge of distribution and logistics operations required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online purchasing or inventory management systems required.
  • Experience with freight payment auditing, transportation scheduling, or carrier coordination preferred.
  • Superior customer service and phone etiquette skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across procurement, manufacturing, suppliers, carriers, and distribution centers.
  • Ability to work productively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment and consistently meet deadlines.


Physical Capabilities



  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods to manage scheduling, freight audits, and logistics systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively by phone and email with internal teams and external partners throughout the day.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
