About the Opportunity Acara Solutions is seeking a Commercial Project Manager 1 to support a project team in Houston, TX. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in commercial project management, project controls, finance, or project administration who is looking to expand their experience in a fast-paced industrial environment. You will work closely with Project Managers, customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to support the financial, commercial, and operational success of projects. What You'll Do Support the commercial and financial management of projects from start to finish. Maintain accurate project books, records, and financial information using systems such as SAP. Support project reporting, financial tracking, forecasting, and controlling activities. Partner with Project Managers to monitor profitability, cash flow, and overall project performance. Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve commercial issues. Support contract administration and claim management activities. Identify, evaluate, and monitor project risks and opportunities. Assist with partner and subcontractor selection and coordination. Participate in internal and external project meetings and decision boards. Help coordinate commercial project team members and assigned responsibilities. Support compliance with company policies, accounting requirements, and Business Conduct Guidelines. Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support small to medium-sized projects and sub-projects. Job Requirements What You'll Bring High School Diploma or GED. 1+ year of experience in commercial project management, project controls, finance, project administration, or a related field. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong attention to detail and professional judgment. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with SAP or another ERP system. Background in project financials, forecasting, reporting, or cost control. Experience with contracts, claims, or commercial project administration. Experience identifying and managing project risks and opportunities. Experience supporting process improvement initiatives. Previous experience managing or supporting small to medium-sized projects.
