Summary:

The Marketing Analyst is someone who has a business/impact mindset with strong technical analytical skills to turn data into insights. They will partner with marketers across the organization to dig into strategic questions, and their insights will help drive the prioritization and outcomes of the team's efforts. In addition, analyze and interpret data to inform go-forward business and marketing strategy. Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing initiatives and the impact of marketing activities on engagement, sales, and ROI. Ability to manage internal stakeholders across the organization and influence and collaborate across other vertical teams in a highly matrixed environment. Work with teams to provide reporting and learnings on a regular basis and as needed.

Responsibilities:



  • Tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of marketing activities, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development/automation of regular reports.
  • Analyzes A/B and multivariate tests, communicate results, and provide recommendations.
  • Work with data scientists and other analysts on CRM data reporting and audience segmentation.
  • Work with agency partners to define needed reports and provide feedback.
  • Make recommendations on audience segmentation, A/B testing, and data sources.
  • Respond to requests for information on performance and metrics.
  • Create PowerPoint presentations to provide data and insights to other teams or for executive presentations.
  • Work with other teams to obtain and implement new or updated data points.
  • Advises other marketing functions (e-commerce/website, online/offline advertising, brand, product marketing) as the knowledge owner for customer and market data.
  • Analyzes performance of process activities, identifies problem areas, and presents findings in clear, concise charts, graphs, tables, or summaries.
  • Establishes standardized methods of recording, tracking, and reporting on activity.
  • Design, implement, automate, and maintain large-scale enterprise data ETL processes.
  • Modify existing databases and database management systems and/or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field required.
  • 5-7 years of experience required.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, with an emphasis on quantitative analysis (Excel) and the creation of presentations (PowerPoint).

  • Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a high degree of business acumen.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability in handling concurrent projects with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Attuned to a teamwork environment, fast-paced rhythm, and a results-oriented culture.
  • Knowledge of CRM principles and best practices is recommended.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills including the ability to analyze reports, campaign performance, and synthesize recommendations.
  • Knowledge of how to use Tableau.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Analytics is a plus.
