Job Details:



The Radiation Oncology Clinic within our NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center provides specialized, compassionate care to adult and pediatric patients undergoing radiation treatment for a wide variety of cancers. Our Registered Nurses play an essential role in supporting patients throughout their cancer treatment journey, building meaningful relationships with patients and families while providing expert clinical care.



As a Radiation Oncology RN, you will have the opportunity to practice a diverse range of nursing skills, including:



  • Comprehensive patient assessment and management of treatment-related side effects and symptoms
  • Patient and family education and emotional support
  • Crisis intervention and care coordination
  • IV placement and management
  • Central line care and management
  • procedural nursing
  • Patient navigation and coordination of complex multidisciplinary care
  • Collaboration with physicians, APPs, radiation therapists, PCTs, and other members of the multidisciplinary oncology team



This position will primarily support our Gynecologic Oncology (GYN) Radiation service, with opportunities to cross-cover other radiation oncology services as needed. The RN will also support anesthesia cases and specialized procedures, providing opportunities to develop and utilize a broad range of clinical skills.

Salary Range: Minimum 43.61/hour - Maximum 67.59/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
