As a Security Officer Armed Driver in Myakka City, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer, conducting routine vehicle and foot patrols to help maintain a secure environment. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and escalating concerns as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the property, buildings, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, vehicle, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
