As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in West Des Moines, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, while documenting relevant details and following post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the banking location, including lobbies, offices, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas, as assigned.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and report unusual behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues to help support site operations.
• Assist with opening and closing routines, support access control practices, and provide visible presence to help discourage unauthorized activity and/or disruptions at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
