Duke Raleigh Hospital, A Campus of Duke University Hospital - Inpatient Unit 4200 - Medical Surgical Stepdown, is seeking an LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse who embraces Advancing Health Together! Department Summary: The Medical/Surgical Stepdown Unit at Duke Raleigh Campus is seeking passionate, driven nurses to join our high-performing 34-bed team. This is an exciting opportunity to care for a diverse and complex patient population, including individuals with sepsis, pneumonia, diabetes, sickle cell disease, and gastrointestinal conditions, as well as patients requiring step-down level care such as cardiac drips, post-cath lab recovery, and peritoneal dialysis.Our unit offers a unique, well-rounded clinical environment that also includes providing nurses with the chance to expand their skills and make a meaningful impact across multiple areas of care. With a supportive nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-5 based on acuity, our team is empowered to deliver safe, high-quality, and individualized care.
