Description Job Title: A&P Mechanic Reports To: Production Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Department: Maintenance Location: Various POSITION SUMMARY: The Aircraft Mechanic services, repairs and modifies aircraft structures, structural components, flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components. High school diploma or equivalent required. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) license is required. Under minimal supervision, services and repairs aircraft airframe, engine, components and sub-systems, in accordance with company standards and applicable FAA regulations and predetermined company processes and procedures. Provides technical assistance and guidance to other mechanics with less experience, as directed. Qualifications ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

COMMUNICATION SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic math and algebra. REASONING AND PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions. COMPUTER SKILLS: Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with aviation industry maintenance management and logistics information systems. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a SECRET government security clearance and a favorable personal background check. This position requires varied work shifts and the ability to work in a highly structured environment. Must adhere to KING AEROSPACE Cornerstone Principles.
