This is a full time, salaried opportunity. All candidates must be able to work in Warren, Michigan in a hybrid schedule. We offer premium benefits with PTO, paid holidays and a salary range of 105K-115K annually depending on experience.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to lead the development of cutting-edge hardware products, from initial concept through to successful market launch. In this role, you will be the driving force behind complex programs, ensuring seamless execution and cross-functional alignment within a fast-paced environment. Your leadership will be crucial in bringing innovative charging and energy management solutions to life, contributing significantly to the company's mission and market leadership.

What You'll Deliver



  • Lead hardware product development programs through the stage-gate process, from concept, development, validation, and launch.
  • Define and manage program scope, timing, milestones, budget, resourcing needs, and deliverables.
  • Track program performance against key development and launch targets, providing clear status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Maintain program risk registers, identify issues early, and drive mitigation plans across cross-functional teams.
  • Plan and facilitate program execution meetings with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners.
  • Develop recommendations related to program changes, including timing, scope, resourcing, cost, and risk mitigation.
  • Manage change control processes for scope, cost, timing, and go-to-market impacts.
  • Define required internal and customer-facing product documentation needed for product release and launch readiness.
  • Coordinate supplier and internal technical deliverables required to support hardware product development and release.
  • Track and confirm products are released in alignment with related product program and portfolio roadmaps.
  • Author and manage program content change requests through applicable release and approval systems.
  • Support quality readiness reviews, validation activities, and launch readiness assessments.
  • Partner closely with engineering, product management, product planning, supply chain, purchasing, software teams, and quality teams to ensure successful execution.
  • Coordinate with supplier partners and channel stakeholders on key launch and release milestones.


Your Expertise and Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years experience managing complex hardware product development programs in the electric vehicle, renewable energy, solar or related industries
  • Strong understanding of stage-gate processes, product development lifecycles, and launch management
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving alignment across multiple stakeholders
  • Strong skills in program planning, issue resolution, and risk management
  • Experience using program management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar platforms
  • Experience working with product, engineering and supply chain teams
  • Relevant experience from battery, inverter, solar or utility-related businesses will also be considered


What Will Set You Apart



  • PMP certification
  • Experience supporting product launches involving both hardware and software integration
  • Experience working with external suppliers, commercial partners, or channel partners
  • Knowledge of automotive product release processes and governance systems
