Description
Vedder's Chicago office is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Engineer. The Senior Financial Systems Engineer is responsible for the daily technical support of critical financial and accounting systems to ensure accurate system operation, financial data integrity, and successful audits. As the functional expert on the Firm's financial systems, this role serves as the technical point of contact and partners closely with Accounting, Business Intelligence, and the Information Technology (IT) department. The role designs and documents technical solutions, system updates, workflow improvements, and makes appropriate recommendations that positively impact operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate combines deep technical experience with a strong understanding of how systems support law firm financial processes, including billing, collections, general ledger management, and time entry.
