The Department of Pediatrics at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is seeking a Pediatric Palliative Care Physician to join the Pediatric Advanced Care Team (PACT) providing pain and palliative care services for children and young adults with cancer and cancer related illnesses. PACT is a busy and growing service providing advanced pain and symptom management and palliative care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. PACT is composed of three physicians, three nurse practitioners, an office practice nurse, and office and clinic care coordinators. PACT works closely with integrative medicine, pediatric psychiatry and psychology, child life, social work, and chaplaincy, along with the primary oncology services. We have strong relationships with the hospices in the region. We are actively seeking a physician board-eligible/board certified inpediatrics and pediatric hospice and palliative medicine who is interested in a clinically focused academic career. Our mission includes clinical care, research, education, advocacy, community outreach, and coordinated care with local home hospice services. The Department of Pediatrics has a robust research infrastructure to support a variety of research interests. This search is open to potential candidates at all levels of career experience and appointments will be made at an academic level commensurate with the appointee's experience.
